The HumanEdge Roundtable

Why do we need deeper human-first conversations about AI? Because most AI conversations stop at the surface.

The tools. The productivity hacks. The time-saving tips. We’ve all heard them.

But what about what AI is quietly doing to the way your team thinks, decides, and leads? What about the security risks most leaders are only vaguely aware of? The slow erosion of critical thinking? The questions nobody in the room is brave enough to ask?

The HumanEdge Roundtable is a small, intimate gathering for SME leaders who are ready to go beyond the basics – and have the real, human-first conversations about AI that actually matter.

Taking a human-first approach to AI is key

I’ll be honest with you. If the 2022 version of me was told she’d be an AI thought-leader and author one day, she would have laughed in your face.

Me? A non-techy copywriter from Sydney, talking about artificial intelligence for a living? Not a chance.

And yet here we are.

My journey into AI didn’t start with excitement. It started with a very real threat to my livelihood. When ChatGPT arrived and my copywriting business felt the squeeze, I had a choice: panic, or pay attention. I chose to pay attention. And what I found changed everything.

While I kicked things off by talking about how to create quality content with AI, I soon realised there was a much bigger issue at play.  Most people had a completely wrong approach.

The conversation was – and still is – almost entirely focused on the tools. The prompts. The productivity hacks. What I kept waiting for, and rarely hearing, was the bigger question: what does all of this mean for the humans?

That’s the question that drives everything I do. It’s what’s behind my book AI-Human Fusion, my workshops, my keynotes – and The HumanEdge Roundtable.

Because after years of training leaders across Australia and Asia I know one thing is for sure: AI will never replace you. But leaders who understand how to think about AI – how to guide it, question it, and use it with intention – will always have the edge over those who don’t.

That’s what we’re here to explore. Together at the Roundtable.

Hear from the humans

When I wrote my book ‘AI-Human Fusion’, I made sure it wasn’t just my voice. I wanted real perspectives from real humans.

Here are some extracts that resonate most with the leaders I work with – and that come up time and again in workshops, keynotes, and the Roundtable.
